- Conventional Full Denture
A conventional full denture is made and then Dr. Erik Mendelsohn will place it in the patient’s mouth after the remaining teeth are removed and tissues have healed (which may take a few months).
- Immediate Complete
An immediate complete denture is inserted after the removal of any remaining teeth. In order to make this possible, Dr. Erik Mendelsohn takes measurements and makes models of the patient’s jaws during a preliminary visit. An advantage of immediate dentures is that the denture wearer does not have to be without teeth during the healing period.
- Overdenture
An overdenture is a removable denture that fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth will be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture. Dr. Erik Mendelsohn will determine if an overdenture is suitable for you.
