- Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. Serenity Smile Designs is an out-of-network provider for all PPO dental plans. You can use most PPO insurance benefits in our office, and we will help you maximize your coverage.
- What does “out-of-network” mean for me?
Being out-of-network gives you the freedom to choose your preferred dentist based on quality rather than a limited insurance list. You still receive benefits, and we help submit claims or request reimbursement on your behalf if your plan allows assignment of benefits.
- Which insurance plan should I choose?
We cannot select or recommend a specific insurance plan. However, patients who want the most flexibility and the highest reimbursement typically look for plans that:
– Allow assignment of benefits
– Offer strong out-of-network coverage
– Have higher premiums, which often come with better benefits - Why should I be cautious with lower-tier plans?

- Do insurance companies require dentists to use certain labs?

For the few things we can’t do in-house, like high end ceramic needs, we have a long standing partner who is one of the best in the nation. - Can your office help me submit claims?
Yes, we will gladly submit claims for you and help you navigate your out-of-network benefits to make the process as smooth as possible.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients; therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office, regardless of your insurance coverage.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan, but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.

Co-Pay Coordination
It is our pleasure to assist you in maximizing your dental insurance benefit by completing your claim forms for you. As a courtesy, in addition to filing the claim, we will initially ask you only for your estimated co-payment. Please understand that this is only an estimate and is based upon the information available to us. While we are happy to wait for the insurance portion of your fee, the patient portion is expected at each visit in cash, by check, or by credit card.

The range of your dental insurance benefits depends solely on what your employer wishes to purchase. Some New Jersey dental insurance plans cover as little as 30 percent or as much as 100 percent of dental services, with most falling in the 40 percent to 80 percent range.

Full Ceramic Crowns, Veneers, Bridges, Implant Crowns, Night Guards—Five Years Coverage
3D printed materials offer aesthetic appeal; however, they may wear or stain more rapidly than traditional ceramics and are prone to discoloration faster than traditional ceramic veneers. These materials can be rejuvenated and repolished for an additional fee.
We provide an upgrade option should you decide to transition to porcelain in the future. Half of the cost spent on the original veneers will be applied towards upgrading to full ceramics, valid up to five years from initial placement.
Orthodontic retainers: One-year warranty. Two sets are provided at the time of orthodontic completion. Replacement is recommended every 1-2 years, depending on the individual. Grinding shortens lifespan and voids the warranty unless a night guard is worn.
The titanium implant is warranted for five years if the patient is a non-smoker, has no significant health risks, follows regular checkups, has adequate home care, and wears a night guard as recommended.
We will provide an unlocked digital file of your bridge so that, in the event of a fracture, it can be taken anywhere to create a new one without any new digital fabrication charges.
Fractures in your zirconia prosthesis, including breaks or manufacturing defects in the zirconia material, are covered.
This warranty is non-transferable, applies only to treatment completed at Serenity Smile Designs, and does not cover refund requests or treatment costs from other providers.
